Meet Scott, our Creator, Co-owner, head Firestarter, and Executive Pit Master ✨ Scott started his culinary career as a self-taught chef, launching his first gourmet food truck in 2011. Since then, he’s been a key player in creating a food empire that’s been taking Toronto by storm. With a background in nightclub ownership, marketing, and advertising, and food competition victories, he’s a jack-of-all-trades with a knack for making establishments that people love 💕
When we met Amy, she had just arrived from spending two years in a land full of snow, northern lights, and a place where the moonshine flows through the mountains and into the homes of the sweetest and most hospitable bunch of people she has ever met. The place they call “koselig” Norway. She moved to Norway after 15 years working an office job, where she got a taste of what dining is like abroad. She then moved to Toronto, bringing a new thirst for hospitality to the table and joined the Hogtown family

Meet Andrew, Smoke’s Chef De Cuisine ✨ Andrew learned at a young age that bringing people together over food is a special task. He learned how to fuse together traditional and contemporary dishes while cooking alongside his parents, who are a big inspiration for his work. From Asada, to the AGO, Pick 6ix, and now to Smoke – he brings a lot to the table, importantly Instagram-worthy dishes and mouth-watering shareables
Meet Glen, our Owner and Managing Partner! Glen was a graphic designer by trade, with a collective 30 years’ experience (20 of those as a Creative Director). Glen always held food & beverage close, working as a Bartender on the side while simultaneously leading campaigns for OLC, Labatt’s, Audi, and Fuji Film. After many years in advertising, he took a leap into the welcoming arms of Hogtown Smoke, and now Smoke – needless to say it was a perfect fit
Meet the man behind the food, our Corporate Executive Chef, Sean! Sean’s career is decorated with over 35 years in the industry, including stints at fine dining steakhouses, sports bars, commissaries, BBQ joints, and in catering. Sean’s pathway to becoming a chef is as unique as the menus he creates – including humble roots in and out of the industry and a brief (but illuminated) career in music
